About Us

Who we are

We are a Methodist congregation at the heart of Moston and are an eclectic mix of folk. Some people have been worshipping here, each Sunday for the last 60+ years whilst others have more recently joined us. We come from a wide range of backgrounds but we gather as a church family every Sunday. We prefer a more traditional form of worship as that seems to suit the wide range of ethnic backgrouds that make up the congregation.

If you are looking for a friendly church to call home you will be made very welcome here. Join us on a Sunday morning and have a chat over tea and coffee afterwards.

What our church is here for

The policy of Moston Methodist Church, agreed by the church council, is set out in six aims.

  • To provide a centre for Christian worship, fellowship and service.
  • To share the good news of the love of God in Jesus, through our words and actions.
  • To nurture, educate, train, encourage and support our people in the Christian faith and in Christian responsibility.
  • To encourage and support the minister and laity where they are involved in the broader Christian mission.
  • To support the wider work of the Church in the world, and any ecumenical initiatives.
  • To develop ways of working in partnership with our community.
