As most of you are aware, we have continued to run the baby basket project to the best of our ability during Lockdown. It has been difficult to collect and sort through essential donations as we would usually do. It was for this reason that I set up the Amazon wish list, which has a list of items we need for baby basket that people can order from amazon and is delivered straight to my door. The response to this has been amazing! The amazon delivery driver jokingly asked me if it was Christmas again because of all the deliveries I was receiving! I would like to thank everyone who has continued to support us during this time, it has meant the world to us. With your support during the month of February we have given out 5 Moses baskets filled with baby essentials along with the “mums packs” to families in great need. We have given out 2 prams, 3 cots a highchair and a car seat. We will continue to accept referrals and support as many families as we possibly can. I would like to share with you some recent feedback we received,
“Moston Baby basket has been amazing! They have completely taken away the worries of a young mum who has been through so much. She is forever grateful and can now enjoy this special time”.
I will continue to update the amazon wish listwith the things that we are in short supply of so please continue to check this from time to time.
I would also to thank everyone who has supported us by becoming a member of the Co-op and selected Baby Basket as their cause. We have raised £94.49 so far which is fantastic!
I would just like to finish by giving God all the praise and glory for blessing Baby Basket and enabling us to serve others.
