We celebrated Shoebox Sunday by considering the number of hands a box passes through on its journey from donor to recipient, linking this to how we use our hands in the service of others. For an example we looked how the mother of Moses entrusted her baby into the hand of God when she placed him in the river. Moses's life was touched by many hands. Shoeboxes too touch the lives of many people.
We filled and sent 28 boxes along with a donation to cover their transportation cost and the work of Operation Christmas Child. Once again a great effort by all concerned and thanks to all for your support with this appeal.
