We had lots of fun doing activities and crafts relating to Noah's Ark.
We remembered how God had told Noah to build an Ark to protect Noah and his family from the flood and we wondered if we could make our very own Ark, so we did ! We made it out of cardboard boxes, painted it and made paper plate animals to peep out of the windows of the Ark.
We thought about how God was sad with the people on earth but protects those who love and obey him, just like Noah. We prayed for Gods protection with our spray paint prayers .
We thought about the many different animals that would have been aboard the Ark and made animal masks to wear.
The children experimented with shaving foam, water, and food colouring to try to make rain. We remembered his it rained for 40 days and 40 nights during the flood.
The next thing we made was paper doves, remembering how Noah sent out a dove to see if there was any dry land
We then made beautiful rainbows out of skittles and water watching all the colours spread.
We decorated some delicious rainbow cakes and made a rainbow picture remembering God's promise not to flood the earth again.
Last of all the children did lots of jumping up and down on the bouncy castle and enjoyed some hotdogs!
The theme for this week was the wise and foolish builders.Read More
